The McGaw Horizon NXT pump can be used both in and out of the hospital setting. The McGaw Horizon NXT has all of the features of the Horizon Classic, but it is also capable of administering intermittent infusions and is capable of administering pre-set periodic doses of IV fluids such as antibiotics, chemotherapy, epidural drugs, blood and lipids.
